ZY Global Connect is seeking an experienced, visionary, and highly effective School Principal / Head of School to provide strategic leadership and oversee the academic, operational, and organisational performance of a school. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high educational standards, developing staff, supporting student achievement, and building strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction across the school.
Lead the development and implementation of the school’s academic and operational objectives.
Monitor teaching, learning, student achievement, and overall school performance.
Develop, support, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
Promote high standards of teaching, learning, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
Manage school policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
Oversee school resources, budgets, staffing, and operational requirements.
Lead school improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
Support curriculum development and effective implementation of recognised curricula.
Represent the school professionally with external stakeholders and relevant authorities.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, respectful, and high-performing school environment.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
Recognised teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE, PGDE, QTS/equivalent national teaching licence, or other recognised teaching certification.
Significant teaching and school leadership experience.
Previous experience as a Principal, Headteacher, Vice Principal, Deputy Head, or senior school leader.
Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, safeguarding, and school improvement.
Proven experience leading and developing teaching teams.
Strong strategic, financial, operational, and people-management skills.
Candidate must satisfy applicable visa, work-permit, teacher-registration, and safeguarding requirements.
